By Car: Whether from the North, South, East or West the roads to Grantown are excellent and run through some of the most beautiful countryside. For those travelling from the South, your journey from Perth up the A9 with its magnificent scenery will make you feel relaxed and looking forward to your vacation in this stunning part of the world.

By Rail: to Aviemore, then a taxi to Grantown. Cost approx. £15 - £20.

By Air: to Inverness, Dalcross Airport, followed by about a 40 minute drive. Aberdeen is an alternative offering a greater variety of connections and destinations, but is 75 miles away and would take a further 1 to 2 hours by road, although again through pleasant countryside.

Car Hire: Both Airports offer car hire facilities, it is also possible to hire locally in Aviemore.
